DemandTec Appoints Denise Vardakas-Styrna as VP, Marketing

Seasoned Retail Technology Marketing Executive Seeks to Elevate Company’s Industry Profile, Provide More Client Focus in Messaging, and Drive Growth

Vardakas-Styrna has been recognized as a rising star in technology marketing for her work in building and rebuilding brands in times of great disruption. With experience in recent years as Chief Marketing Officer for GrocerKey (acquired by Point Pickup Technologies) and Head of Marketing, Americas for dunnhumby, Vardakas-Styrna has significant expertise in marketing strategy, including digital, event, and account-based marketing, as well as holistic marketing programs aimed to build awareness and demand generation with retailers and consumer brands at every phase of the marketing and sales cycle. In joining DemandTec, Vardakas-Styrna brings her results-oriented marketing expertise to join a highly experienced leadership team that has continued to pioneer the application of advanced customer demand intelligence and AI-based data science to deliver measurable ROI for retail innovators globally.

Prior to dunnhumby, Vardakas-Styrna served in multiple senior marketing roles at programmatic marketing company DataXu (acquired by Roku). At the beginning of the content marketing era, she helped design and direct innovative brand transformation go-to-market campaigns for retail, CPG and technology brands including Best Buy, General Mills, and Singularity University.
