At DemandTec, Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) isn’t just a software delivery mechanism. It’s the business model our entire company is built around to create value for our customers. We use the term “software services” instead of “applications” and, yes, we host our software services with a single-instance, multi-tenant architecture. But that’s only the beginning. Our pricing, engineering, support, implementation services, finance, and other programs are all based on this model. Our business model provides benefits to our customers beyond the features and functions of our software services.
