DemandTec Appoints Phelps Senior VP of Professional Services
Company Strengthens Services Team with Veteran Technology Executive
SAN CARLOS, Calif. – August 1, 2007 – DemandTec, a leading provider of Consumer Demand Management software, today announced that William Phelps has joined the company's management team as Senior Vice President of Professional Services. Phelps reports to President and CEO Dan Fishback and is responsible for expanding DemandTec's services organization worldwide.
Phelps was most recently Vice President, Professional Services at Ketera Technologies, a software services company, and previously led the professional services organizations at Selectica, Silicon Energy, PowerMarket, Kana Communications and CrossWorlds Software. His background also includes management consulting experience with Booz, Allen & Hamilton, where he was a senior member of the Information Technology Group focused on supply chain management strategy and tactics for large manufacturing clients. He began his career at Andersen Consulting. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University.
