DemandTec Hires John Crouch as Sr. VP of Worldwide Sales
Company Adds former Blue Martini Executive to Lead Global Expansion and Manage World-Class Sales Team
SAN CARLOS, Calif. – December 2, 2003 – DemandTec Inc., the leading provider of Consumer Demand Management (CDM) software for retail and consumer goods merchandising, today announced the addition of John Crouch to the executive management team. Crouch is responsible for driving revenue worldwide, including partner relations and field sales, and will focus on expanding the sales force globally.
Crouch brings19 years of enterprise application software experience to DemandTec. For the past three years Crouch was in London, serving as VP of European Operations for Blue Martini Software, where he established the entire European presence and was responsible for sales and all field operations. Crouch led the European region to 700% year-on-year revenue gains and established it as the leading region in this fast growing eBusiness leader. Prior to that, he held the position of VP of North American Sales at Portivity, served as VP of the Western Region at Chordiant Software, and Director of Central US Sales at Scopus Technology (now Siebel Systems). Crouch began his software career at MSA selling MRP and financial systems. He holds a BS in Industrial Engineering from the University of Michigan.
