William B. Binch, Partner, Pasatiempo Cellars
William Binch has been an active independent director for seven years. He has extensive experience in worldwide sales, enterprise applications, and BI/analytics. He currently serves on four boards: SPSS (Lead Director), Callidus Software, Saama, & MedeFinance, as well as two Advisory Boards (DemandTec & Verari). Mr. Binch served as CEO/Chairman of SeeCommerce (acquired by NCR/Teradata). He was SVP of WW Sales at Hyperion/Arbor, and a senior executive at Business Objects & Prism, two BI & DW companies. He served for five years at Oracle, departing as VP of Strategic Accounts. He has held executive positions at IBM, Itel, & Fortune Systems.
Ralph Drayer, Chairman and Founder, Supply Chain Insights
Mr. Drayer was Procter & Gamble's former Chief Logistics Officer. During his 32 years with P&G, Mr. Drayer held a number of distribution, logistics, customer service and Customer Business Development responsibilities. As P&G's first Vice President of Customer Service⁄Logistics, he was instrumental in the developement of P&G's industry leading supply chain capabilities and through his leadership of ECR, helped transform an entire industry. Mr. Drayer has served as Co–chair of the Grocery Industry's ECR Best Practices Committee, Chairman of the GMA Distribution and Logistics Committee, and on the Boards of The Uniform Code Council, VICS, and The Council of Logistics Management's Executive Committee. Mr. Drayer is the recipient of the Grocery Industry's first Path Forward Award for his industry leading work on ECR and the Council of Logistics Management's Distinguished Service Award, the highest honor that can be bestowed on an individual for achievements in logistics.
Patrick L. Kiernan, President, Day⁄Kiernan & Associates
Mr. Kiernan's 30–year career spans the retail grocery, warehousing, and consumer packaged goods industries. After a successful career in the grocery retail industry, Mr. Kiernan joined GMA, (Grocery Manufacturers of America), serving as Vice President of Industry Relations, Senior Vice President of Strategy and Emerging Issues, and director of GMA's industry re–engineering efforts in both the grocery and foodservice industries. Before joining GMA, Mr. Kiernan spent 18 years with Safeway Stores, seven of them as Corporate Division Manager of Industrial Engineering.
Larry Lowry
Mr. Lowry has over 30 years experience serving leading retailing and consumer products companies. Mr. Lowry was previously with McKinsey & Company, Inc., where he was a senior leader of the Firm's North American Consumer Products and Retailing Practices, Booz Allen & Hamilton, Inc, where he was the Global Managing Partner for the Firm's Consumer Industries Practice and a member of the Firm's Executive Committee, and the Boston Consulting Group, Inc. Mr. Lowry also currently serves as the Chairman of Vertical Networks, Inc., and the Managing Partner of L3 Ventures, Inc. Mr. Lowry has been an investor in and served on the Boards of several early stage companies.
Jack Partridge, President, Jack W. Partridge & Associates, Inc.
A 28–year veteran of the retail food industry, Mr. Partridge provides consulting services in strategic planning, public policy management, corporate governance, marketing and customer development to the country's top retailers and packaged goods suppliers. Mr. Partridge had a distinguished 23–year career with The Kroger Co, the nation's largest food retailing company. He was part of the company's Senior Management Committee and served as President of The Kroger Foundation. Prior to founding his own consulting practice, Mr. Partridge served as Vice Chairman of the Board and Chief Administrative Officer for The Grand Union Company, a 250–store food retailing company serving six northeastern states.
